山梨県の廃校の廊下に展示した18センチ角のあめちゃん。廃校で開かれた美術と音楽のイベントに参加したときのもので、小さなかわいらしい木造校舎によく合っていた。9月半ばのことで、イベント会場は数日前に起こった9.11の話題でもちきりだった。

This is a photograph which I took at the corridor of an elementary school closed down of Yamanashi, and there is a "Amechan" which size is 180mm square. I participated in an event of the art and music at this closedown school, and this work was matched with a small pretty wooden school building very well. It was the middle of September 2001 that this event was held, but the 9.11 happened a few days ago, so everyone was talking about that.

京都のギャラリーに展示したときの写真で、私の別の作品の写真をスライドプロジェクタによって投影合成してある。中心にいる「あめちゃん」にナルトのような図形が重なっているが、これは古代文字である。「なるとあめちゃん」と呼んでいる。

This is a photograph which I took at a gallery at Kyoto, and I composed another photograph of my different work by a slide projector on it. The figure such as the naruto(one of important materials in the ramen) overlaps with "Ame-chan" who is in the center, and this is an ancient character. I call this as "Naruto Ame-chan".

三島のストリートギャラリーに参加したときの写真で、和菓子店の店頭に展示された18cm角の「あめちゃん」。この催しは、三島市の商店街の店舗と提携してアーティストが店頭に作品を展示するという試みで、私は、この和菓子店の他にも洋装店とおもちゃ屋さんに展示した。お店の性格によって作品の見え方がまったく変わってくるのでおもしろかった。

This is a photograph when I participated in the event called "The Street Gallery" of Mishima city, and "Ame-chan" of 18cm square displayed in the store of the Japanese sweet shop. In this event, an artist cooperate with the store of the mall of Mishima city, and he displays his works in the store which was chosen by the planner of this event, and I displayed my works at a dress shop and a toy store in the others of this Japanese sweet shop. It was interesting for me that the appearance of the work changed by the character of the shop which displayed the work.

名古屋のギャラリーに展示した12cm角の「あめちゃん」。小さくても、背後には「本当の作品の写真」が置かれており、手前の木枠に2重に張られたビニール膜にプリントされた画像によって、その写真はきわめて見づらくなっている。

"Ame-chan" of the 12cm square that I displayed at the gallery of Nagoya. "The photograph of a true work" is put in the rear even if it is so small, and, by images printed on double vinyl films extended on a wooden frame, becomes hard to watch the photograph.

春日井市の小学校の図書館に、本と並べて展示した18cm角の「あめちゃん」。これは、学校美術館といって、小学校や中学校のあちこちに作品を展示する試みです。私は、図書館や理科室、階段などに置かせてもらいましたが、生徒さんたちの感想はなかなかおもしろいものでした。

"Ame-chan" of the 18cm square that I displayed in the library of the elementary school at Kasugai city. This says School Art Museum and is a event to display works in many places of an elementary school and the junior high school. I put my works on a library, a science room, the stairs. The impressions from students were very interesting.
