このパネルは、シリーズ「INVISI」を総括するような位置づけの作品で、このシリーズの個々のテーマのすべてをまとめて表示しています。すなわち、「あめちゃんのけのついたのでたんしゃにのるのだ」（さまざまなキャラクタの集合）、「生命源」（いのちの生まれるところとは？）、「光の森」（人の言葉のふしぎさ）、「クリスタル・ベル」（宇宙とは？地球とは？そして人類とは？）、「地球創成」（この地球の意味とは？）、そして「INVISI」（本当に見たいものは見えない）です。
本当に見たいものは見えない。これは、私が作品を作っていく際の基本テーマとして、ずっと私とともにあります。本当に見たいもの……人の場合、これはすなわち「本当に知りたいもの」になってしまう。人においては、「見る」と「知る」は、なぜか生まれながらに強く結ばれています。本当は、「今、見えているものすべて」が「世界」なのに、人は、その外といいますか、奥といいますか、とにかく今見えているものを越えたところに「本当の世界」があるのではないかと思ってしまう……
現代美術の展開を見てみると、それは、この人の奇妙な「思いこみ」……見えているもののほかに世界があると思ってしまう思いこみを打ち破り、人を、今目の前に見えているものを見えるままに見るように誘う……そういう方向性が顕著に現われていたと思うのですが、にもかかわらず、「人の目」（そして人の脳）はなにも変わりません。画然として打ち出された新しい試みもすぐに「スタイル」と化し、人の貪欲な「文化」の中に呑み込まれて「歴史」となってしまいます。
本当に見たいものは見えない。否視。おびただしい情報に囲まれて、しかも空である……常に、そこは変わらないと思います。

This panel is a work of position generalizing the series named "INVISI". Each theme is that, "amechan no kenotuitano de tansha ni norunoda" (Gathering of various characters), "LIFE ORIGIN" (Where is the place to be born of the life?) , "LUCIS SILVAE" (The wonder of the words of human), "CRYSTAL BELL" (What is the space? What is the earth? What is mankind?), "EARTH BORN" (What is the meaning of this earth?), and "INVISI" (One can not see what really want to see).
One can not see what really want to see. This is a basic theme with me all the time when I make a work. What really want to see. In the case of a human being, this always becomes "what really want to know". "Seeing" and "Knowing" are bound together strongly by nature for some reason, in human beings. Really, what was seen now is the just "the world" itself, but human being has the tendency to think that there is "the true world" in the outside (or in the depths).
I think that the following intention appears clearly when I look at the history of the contemporary art. The intention is to break this human strange belief (the thought that the true world should be elsewhere), and to urge a human being to see the world as just he is seeing now. However, the eyes (and heart) of a person turn into nothing in many cases even if he watches some contemporary arts. The new and vivid trial in contemporary art, becomes "a style" immediately, and is swallowed in human greedy "culture", then it will be "the history".
One can not see what really want to see. "INVISI". The center is empty among a large quantity of information, besides……I always think that it does not change.
