emonとは「絵紋」で、絵を連ねていってできる絵です。最初に一つの絵を描き、基本的に、それと同じものを、紙面がいっぱいになるまで描き連ねていきます。
描く対象は、なんでもOKです。身の回りのもの。はさみ、スマホ、孫の手、本、お菓子の袋。自分で描いた絵やイラスト。いろんな本に載っているイラスト。ネットの画像……とにかく、文字以外のものはすべてemon化されます。
描くときは、まず最初の画像を見て描き（たいてい紙面の左上に描く）、次の画像からは、最初に描いた画像を見て描きます。実物が手もとにある場合には、ときおり実物も参照します。
できるだけ最初の画像と同じように描くのですが、そのあたりはいいかげんで、少しずつ変わっていったりします。あんまり変わるとさすがに「ヘンだな？」と思って実物を見直したりします（実物のない場合には諦める）。しかし、以前に描いた画像を修正は、できるだけ控えます（誘惑にかられてやることもあり）。
全体が四角いもの（たとえば本など）を描くと、なぜかパースがかかって、連続的に角度が変化していきます。丸いものは、ほぼそうならないのがおもしろいところです。
このemonもモノクロームが基本ですが、彩色する場合もあります。

"emon" means e(絵 picture)＋pattern(紋 mon).It is my own technique linking pictures.
At first I draw one picture (mostly on the left of the space),then, I draw the same picture next to the first picture.As such, I continue drawing the same picture until the space becomes full.
The object is in everything. A personal thing. Scissors, a smartphone, a scratchback, a book, a bag of snack. Picture or illustration which I drew. Illustrations which appear in various books. Image from the internet……Anyway, all the things except the letter can be made as emon.
When I make emon, at first I draw the first image while watching the real thing or image. And I draw the second image at neighbor of first while watching the first image.
I continue it in this way, but because an image changes little by little, I sometimes watch a genuine thing or image (when there is not a genuine thing or image, I give it up).Oh, I am not particular to changing to some extent.However, I prevent me from doing that I revise the image which I drew before later as much as possible(I am seized with temptation and may do it).
When the form of the target thing and image is square (e.g., books), the whole may become like a perspective picture.In other words the slant of an image drawn in succession changes little by little.If the form of the target image is round, it is interesting that such a slant is not born.
This emon works are drawn basically at monochrome, but are occasionally colored.
